Step 1: Stay Curious, Not Judgmental

Don't say: "That's a stereotype."

Do say: "Tell me more about what you've observed. What makes you think the girls aren't interested?"

Why: Shutting down immediately prevents learning. Let her articulate her observation so you can address it specifically.
