Call and Response
Call and Response
Front: Call and response routines in the classroom can prime students for a learning activity. Creating CS-specific call and response chants can help reinforce concepts, information or actions. Call and response has its roots in the African diaspora created by slave trading.
Back: Create and reinforce call and response routines to introduce facts from CS history (for instance, teacher: Ada, students: Lovelace), get their attention, or prepare them for a familiar task.
