Building Mentors

Front: Developing teacher mentors will work toward building a sustainable CS ecosystem that does not rely on you, and will give teachers a colleague they can turn to for support.

Back: With administrators' support and approval, seek out and develop mentor teachers who are eager to take a leadership role around CS education for the school or community. Invite and support these mentors to co-lead PLCs and PDs. Encourage mentors to serve as a point person to disseminate information, CS learning opportunities and related events to their colleagues.
