Administrators' CS 101

Front: Familiarizing administrators with CS content, and teaching practices, will allow for better teacher support and communication within the school community.

Back: Offer administrators the opportunity to participate in a hands-on CS lesson themselves, either in a meeting with you, or by participating in PD with their teachers. Invite them to see CS teaching in action in their schools. Use the time to point out examples of strong CS teaching and CS-specific strategies. Familiarize administrators with CS standards and learning goals and provide resources for further study.
