Look For: Student Voice and Choice

Front: Throughout the lesson, there should be opportunities for student voice, meaningful choices, and personal expression.

Back: Make sure that student agency (choice and voice) is built into each lesson to foster engagement and independent learning. Do students have the opportunity to provide feedback and input and ask questions? Do students have the opportunity to make important and meaningful choices? Are there opportunities for personalization?
