When to Interject

When to Interject

Do interject when:

  • Teacher shares incorrect CS content that students will need to unlearn
  • A teaching moment arises that would significantly enhance learning
  • Teacher requests real-time feedback (Bug-In-The-Ear)
  • Safety concern

Don't interject when:

  • Lesson is going "okay" but not perfectly
  • Teacher is struggling but learning
  • Minor content errors that can be addressed in reflection
  • You would be taking over the lesson
