Intervene

Intervene

Front: Building deep CS understanding takes time. Intervening when a teacher is explaining a concept incorrectly is important to ensure concepts are learned correctly.

Back: When necessary, politely intervene in a way that you and the teacher agreed upon during co-planning. Use light sentence openers, such as "Ms/Mr teacher, I've seen that done.. or do you mean...?" Address the students and teacher by decomposing the concept in a manner that clarifies it well for both the students and teacher.
